MF Architects focuses on all stages of medium to large scale projects worldwide. For MF Architects, architecture is a single issue that reveals itself in different ways. To reach design excellence implies to research; and all research is based on the full understanding of the needs of the work commissioned, clients’ expectations, program needs, policy requirements and site features and conditions. Based on these inputs, MF Architects creates the optimal project that responds to the needs of intended users, urban setting, client needs, site demands and the environment.

A licensed Architect graduated with an Architecture, Design and Urban Development Degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, UdealR, in Montevideo, Uruguay. He collaborated in several research projects on modern architecture in Uruguay. He studied one academic term of 2017 at Universidade do Porto, Portugal. In addition to working in the Real Estate Construction sector as Site Manager for affordable housing, he has worked at elite prestigious Architectural firms in Uruguay (Kimelman Moraes, Kopel-Sanchez). During 2019 he made a trip around the world (Americas, Asia and Europe) where he could see first hand numerous architectural works and present his graduation thesis at Hongik University, South Korea, and at Universita di Napoli Federico II, Italy.
Matías Fagúndez

A licensed Architect graduated with an Architecture, Design and Urban Development Degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, UdealR, in Montevideo, Uruguay. He is a profesor of History III, FADU, UdelaR. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in habitat and housing. He collaborated in several research projects on modern architecture, heritage and housing. He studied one academic term at Technical University of Lisbon in 2015. He worked in the public administration at the Uruguayan Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, and in the private sector in several architectural firms in Montevideo and New York (Laguarda.Low Architects). During 2019 he made a trip around the world (Americas, Asia and Europe) where he could see first hand numerous architectural works and present his graduation thesis at Hongik University, South Korea, and at Universita di Napoli Federico II, Italy.

Graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors of Art in Business Administration and Finance followed by a Masters of Science in Construction Management from New York University. He has worked in many facets of the real estate business including Banking, Construction, Lending, Asset Management, Leasing and others in the United States, Argentina and Uruguay. In addition to being a Managing Partner of MF Architects LLC in charge of Construction and Finance; he serves as the President of MKF Realty LLC in New York, USA and is a Managing Director of RAGHSA SA in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The firms specialize in the development, redevelopment and repositioning of Class A Office and Residential properties in United States, Argentina and Uruguay.
